My Sister's Blog!!

While on the topic of my sister Allison, I find it best to write one of my favorite memories of her! The picture posted above is from a visit about a year ago to Louisville. It had been a stressful couple of months so Mom and I took a road trip to see her. While we were there, we ran over to Macy's and tried on shoes, hats, and even prom dresses!! We had a blast laughing at the ridiculous gowns and enjoyed taking snap shots of us in hats we would never be caught dead in. Leave it to Allison to look AMAZING even while playing dress up! It was a such a good memory because during a time when I needed to laugh and see things from a different view, my sister was there minister to me in just that way. The older I get, the more I begin to see her as not just a sister but a friend. God is good in how He can use those closest to you in such special ways.
